Reviews and Ratings
I had an excellent stay at Sano Banano, where the atmosphere perfectly captures the spirit of Costa Rica. The rooms were clean and cozy, and I appreciated the eco-conscious vibe throughout the hotel. The staff made me feel like family, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, there was some noise from a generator that affected my comfort a bit. Overall, this hotel offered great value for money, especially considering the fantastic complimentary breakfast.
After a long day of travel, we found a lovely and affordable place at Sano Banano. The room was clean and served its purpose for our stay, especially at just $62 a night. While the mattress was a bit hard and noise from neighbors was an issue, the location was perfect—right in the center of town and close to the beach. The highlight was definitely the fantastic dining experience, with exceptional meals and friendly service. Overall, it was a great value for our money.
I had a fantastic stay in Montezuma. The property is very clean, and the support for late check-in was a lifesaver when I missed the ferry. The partnership with Ylang Ylang resort made it perfect for my young children, allowing us access to their lovely pool and beach. Plus, the artisan chocolates they offer are delicious. However, the rooms felt a bit dated and dark, which might not suit everyone, especially if you prefer staying in your room.
Staying at Sano Banano Beachside Hotel was an outstanding experience. The location was perfect for exploring Montezuma, surrounded by activities and just steps from the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to help with our plans and communication was a breeze since they spoke great English. One drawback was the room placement, but it didn't overshadow the overall wonderful experience we had.
My stay at this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location is very convenient, just a short walk from the beach, the rooms left much to be desired in terms of comfort and natural light. The staff were quite nice and handled the check-in process efficiently. However, I found the overall value lacking due to the room's gloomy atmosphere and some noise issues from neighbors.
